The FORMULA 1 GRAN PREMIO DE MÉXICO 2017TM makes it to the big screen thanks to Cinepolis.

· The FORMULA 1 GRAN PREMIO DE MÉXICOTM and Cinepolis gathered together for the 1st Formula 1 Racing Film Exhibition.

· From Thursday, October 13 to October 19, five films about the top category in motor racing will be projected in more than 45 movie theaters around the country.

Only a few weeks away from the FORMULA 1 GRAN PREMIO DE MÉXICO 2017TM, and in order to begin spreading the racing energy around the country, organizers along with Cinepolis launched the 1st Formula 1 Racing Film Exhibition. This is the first time that films 100% related to racing queen category, through which the audience may live Formula 1® excitement and adrenaline during the return of Mexican Grand Prix, on October 27, 28 and 29.

Federico Gonzalez Compean, CEO of FORMULA 1 GRAN PREMIO DE MÉXICO 2017TM stated: “With these initiatives we want to impulse the race and share the energy and the excitement for motor racing out of the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez. We want the FORMULA 1 GRAN PREMIO DE MÉXICO 2017TM to be felt beyond the track and experienced all around the country”.

The 1st Formula 1® Racing Film Exhibition will take place from Thursday, October 13 to October 19 in more than 45 Cinepolis’ facilities around the country in cities like Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey, Queretaro and Cancun; among others [find the full list details on the involved facilities in the attached].

Miguel Rivera, Programming VP of Cinepolis, said: “With this alternative content, here in Cinepolis we are trying to satisfy those most specific audience’s likes with emblematic movies; sport, cultural and music events that worth to be seen on the big screen and be enjoyed to the utmost. This time, we offer this sport fans, five titles filled with racing excitement”.

The movie titles included on the exhibit and which will be showed in film format cover topics 100% related to Formula 1®, going from fiction to documentaries based on real events. The list includes Senna (2010), Rush (2013), Ferrari 312B (2017), McLaren (2017), and Ferrari: Race to immortality (2017) [films’ overview attached].

The film exhibition derived from the effort of joining in one place, motor racing- whose biggest exponent in the country is FORMULA 1 GRAN PREMIO DE MÉXICOTM – and the passion for films. Thanks to the 1st. Formula 1® Racing Film Exhibition people from different cities in the country will be able to live F1®on the big screen.

An Internet initiative will be also implemented for those who attend the film exhibition, so they can participate for tickets to the FORMULA 1 GRAN PREMIO DE MÉXICO 2017TM.

This dynamic consists on buying at least one CINEBONO* on the following link: www.cinepolis.com/cinebono/muestra-formula-1, then submitting personal data with a deadline on October 19. Afterwards on Friday, October 20, a trivia will be sent by email, and will be active for 23 hours after having been launched **.

The frist (5) persons answering correctly the six (6) questions about the movies showed in the Film Exhibition will be granted two three-day tickets to the FORMULA 1 GRAN PREMIO DE MÉXICO 2017TM. Winners will be announced on Monday, October 23 on race’s social media and will also be reached-out directly.
