  • Robbert van de Corput, better known as DJ Hardwell, will play live directly after the podium ceremony of FORMULA 1 GRAN PREMIO DE MÉXICO 2017.
    • Presented by Heineken, the 25-year-old Dutchman will play a ninety minute set on the podium on Sunday October 29th at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez.
On October 29th, once the FORMULA 1 GRAN PREMIO DE MÉXICO 2017TM finishes, Dutch global superstar DJ, Hardwell, will make history by becoming the first DJ in F1® history to play live on a Grand Prix podium. This performance, which will take place at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez, is part of Heineken®’s More Than A Race campaign.
After the race-day podium ceremony in the iconic Foro Sol stadium section of the track, the performance will see Hardwell play a 90-minute gig to the crowd to bring the curtain down on the weekend’s F1 action.
Dutch DJ Hardwell said: “Creating a world first for F1® is a very special feeling! I’m honoured that Heineken® asked me to play on the F1 podium for the first time in Grand Prix history. I hope that by bringing my music into the Grand Prix, it opens up the world of F1® to new audiences, so they too can experience the thrill that F1® brings to so many millions of people.”
Hardwell was awarded the #1 DJ in the world by the Top 100 DJs Poll, and at just 25 years old, the Dutchman has established himself as one of the most iconic artists in the electronic music scene. He is the youngest DJ to have received this prestigious award (2013 and 2014).
