Art at FORMULA 1 GRAN PREMIO DE MÉXICO 2018™ keeps promoting Mexican culture.

  • Prior the ticket sale for the race that will take place on October 26, 27 and 28, the FORMULA 1 GRAN PREMIO DE MÉXICO™ official poster has been launched.
  • “Inspired by the cultural richness in our country, this year for the poster design we have decided to create our own “Tree of Life” of Gran Premio de México”.
  • Through this poster organizers aim to show and recognize that the best F1®ESTA in the world is the one made by Mexicans.

The FORMULA 1 GRAN PREMIO DE MÉXICO™ keeps working in order to show to the world- only through a race- that our country is much more than just stereotypes, we can see a trendy Mexico. Just a few days away from launching the ticket sale for the race that will take place on October 26, 27 and 28, organizers have released the official poster for 2018 edition.

The new art is inspired by the traditional “Tree of Life” a recognized Mexican craft, which consists on an earthenware sculpture whose shape is inspired by a tree, to which some little earthenware figures molded an painted separately are added to represent a scene altogether.

“Inspired by the cultural richness in our country, this year, for the poster we decided to create our own “Tree of Life” of the Gran Premio de México. Beyond telling the history of our racing, with this design we aim to celebrate Mexican culture and honor our handicrafts; and also showing to the world the different faces in our country”, said Rodrigo Sánchez Peraza, Marketing and PR Manager of FORMULA 1 GRAN PREMIO DE MÉXICO™.

Thanks to Mexican fans’ energy and devotion during the three most recent editions of FORMULA 1 GRAN PREMIO DE MÉXICO™, a positive idea of our country has been created , proving that we are much more than what it’s seen on the outside: Mexico is culture, gastronomy, music and warm people.

The craft in the poster represents different elements characteristic of the race, such as drivers, the Mexican fans, the racing cars, wheels, tires, engines, among others.

Again, for the fourth edition of the Gran Premio de México reflects on its new image that the best F1®ESTA in the world is the one made by Mexicans.
