Classification

This was a rainy and full of surprises classification.
The first surprise is that for the first time since Belgium GP 2014 we will see a different car other than Mercedes’ on front row of the grid. It seems this race will be a little bit different, having Ferrari’s red color in the second position. Despite the inclement weather, Lewis Hamilton takes pole.
McLaren keeps progressing slowly but they would probably continue in the last positions of the grid, if it wasn’t for Manor, however, they trust their advance for the remaining days of the championship.
Manor occupies the last position and it has been confirmed that Roberto Merhi will race, despite his Q1 time was not within 107%
Due to the rain Kimi Raïkönnen and Carlos Sainz were the most affected drivers, finishing 11th and 15th respectively.
