- Prices of FORMULA 1 GRAN PREMIO DE MÉXICO 2018™ tickets will remain, and there will be two options for paying them in 6 or 12-month interest free option, all entrances will be numbered for all the stands.
- From February 19 to 21 at 11:00 hours pre-sale will be launched through Preventa Citibanamex and Super Venta Santander with the 12-month interest free payment option.
- General Public sale begins on Thursday, February 22 at 11:00 hours, on the Ticketmaster System, and ticket office / in Palacio de los Deportes.
- Those fans registered in the loyalty program STAYF1RST will be able to compete for double passes to the FORMULA 1 GRAN PREMIO DE MÉXICO 2018™ F1® Paddock and Formula One Paddock ClubTM among others.
After the successful and historical third edition of FORMULA 1 GRAN PREMIO DE MÉXICO™, awarded once again as “The Best Event of the Year” of all the championship, promoters of the best F1®ESTA in motor racing have announced in a press conference that ticket prices will remain for its fourth edition.
“We are honored for having been recognized as the most outstanding in Formula 1® once again, it is a real pride for us to witness how all the effort and dedication is reflected in the satisfaction of attendees and sport community. In response to that, and as a sign of gratitude to the Mexican audience, we have decided to maintain the same prices for the tickets on its edition 2018”, said Federico González Compeán – CEO of FORMULA 1 GRAN PREMIO DE MÉXICO™.
“With that we also aim promoting our country as a tourist destination and getting more people closer to our culture. And at the same time, we also want to keep increasing the number of fans of motor racing in Mexico and that new generations join this sport”, he added.
The executive released the details on the offer, official prices and the starting dates for the tickets sale to the race that will take place on October 26, 27 and 28 at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez.
Tickets sale will be launched on the following stages at the 11:00 hours:
- Tickets presale will be launched on February 19 to 21, 2018 at the 11:00 hours, through Preventa Citibanamex and Súper Venta Santander when cardholders from both banks may purchase their tickets in 6 or 12-month interest free mode.
- General Public tickets sale will start on February 22, 2018 accepting any payment method at any of the points of sale of Ticketmaster System, at ticket office number 7 in Palacio de los Deportes.
Besides, in order to keep rewarding the most loyal fans, a dynamic digital contest will be launched between those registered in the loyalty program STAYF1RST. That program aims compensating fans’ devotion with different benefits throughout the year; the registry is free and it can be made on the official website: www.mexicogp.mx
The contest consist on the following steps: sign up at Gran Premio de México official website (www.mexicogp.mx) to participate in the STAYF1RST- exclusive tickets sale that will take place on February 18, from 9:00 am to 11:55 pm – during the presale, only for Citibanamex and Santander cardholders– and on February 22 from 6:00 am to 10 am – during the tickets sale for general public. Once they had purchased tickets during those two days, they will receive an email Monday, February 26 with a trivia game that they shall answer correctly before everyone else.
Fans will have the chance to win different prizes, such as double passes for the Formula One Paddock ClubTM and F1® Paddock Access, as well as tickets for the Pit Lane Walk of FORMULA 1 GRAN PREMIO DE MÉXICO 2018™.
Finally, Gonzalez Compean emphasized that all the options to get the tickets in monthly-interests free pays- with credit cards from the Banks Citibanamex and Santander – would be made not only in 6 months but in 12. He also stated that for the first time, tickets for all the FORMULA 1 GRAN PREMIO DE MÉXICO™ stands will be numbered.
