As has been well known on various occasions, the organizers of the F1ESTA commissioned the development of a limited series of handcrafted clay pieces that will be used for the promotion of Mexico, its culture and crafts, as well as the Formula 1 Grand Prix of Mexico of 2018. Elaborated in the pottery workshops of the renowned Soteno family in Metepec, State of Mexico, the sculptures are inspired by the traditional tree of life – a well-known Mexican craft that consists of a piece of clay with figurines of the same material that, together , they represent a scene, in this case based on Formula 1.
