  • With this announcement, 100% of the grandstands in the orange zone are now available

The promoter of the 2021 FORMULA 1 MEXICO CITY GRAND PRIX Presented by Heineken has announced that section 101 of grandstand 2-A in the orange zone will be open today. Fan access will be through Gate 8 of the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez starting at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday 6 November.

With the addition of this final section, 100% of grandstand 2-A has now been made available, after meeting all the required quality standards to ensure the safety of all fans.

Aware of the inconvenience this situation may have caused, the promoter has implemented actions aimed at compensating ticket holders who have been affected. Fans who attended the event on Friday 5 November have been receiving $500 pesos in cash (the equivalent of one-third of the total cost of the ticket, which is $1,500 pesos). In addition, they received a Cashless Card worth $500 pesos, which they can use for food and beverage purchases.

The organizers continue working to provide fans with the best possible experience. Our priority will always be the safety of all attendees. We kindly ask fans to look out for the latest information via the Mexico GP’s official social media accounts and on the mexicogp.mx website.
