Ensuring the health and well-being of everyone at the FORMULA 1 MEXICO CITY GRAND PRIX Presented by Heineken is our number one priority. In conjunction with  the Mexico City Government, Formula 1 and the FIA via our local ASN, Corporación Interamericana de Entretenimiento (CIE) – promoter of the race, have agreed that, due to force majeure beyond our control, the 2020 edition of the Mexico City Grand Prix will be postponed and celebrated in 2021 according to the official calendar released by Formula 1 in due course.

“We remain committed to ensuring the safest experience for all attendees. For this reason, we’ve collectively decided to postpone the date of our race. We are confident that this decision will allow us to continue to offer our fans the best and safest live sports experience in the world. We will continue to work in order to welcome all of you in 2021, so we can celebrate our F1ESTA together,” said Federico González Compeán – Managing Director of the FORMULA 1 MEXICO CITY GRAND PRIX Presented by Heineken.

CIE encourages all those who purchased their tickets through Ticketmaster Mexico or Formula1.com in 2020 to keep their admission passes – which will be valid for the 2021 race. More information about the upcoming celebration of the next edition of the Mexico City Grand Prix can be found in our official website, as well as options for ticketing inquiries.
